Employment Injuries Appeals Board

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 38 of the Social Security (Employment Injuries Insurance) Act, the Minister with responsibility for Social Affairs has made the following appointments to the Employment Injuries Appeals Board for the period ending on 30th June 2027-

(a)  The following persons have been appointed as members pursuant to Section 38(1)-

Mr Neil Costa – Chairperson

Mr Donavan Correia - Representative of the interests of insured persons

Mr Neville Dalmedo - Representative of the interests of employers of insured persons

(b)  The following persons have been appointed as supplementary members to surrogate for the respective member as occasion may require, pursuant to Section 38(2)-

Mr Wayne Acris - Supplementary Member to represent the interests of insured persons

Ms Tania Rahmany - Supplementary Member to represent the interests of employers of insured persons

(c)  In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by Section 39, Mrs Priscilla Mather has been appointed as Secretary.
