Seabass Closed Season Notice 2025

In exercise of the powers conferred upon it by regulations 41(3), 41(4)(b) and 41(5) of the Marine Protection Regulations 2014, the Authority has, after consultation with the Nature Conservancy Council, issued the following Notice-

Title.

1.  This Notice may be cited as the Seabass Closed Season Notice 2025.

Commencement.

2.  This Notice comes into operation on the day of publication.

Application.

3. The capture of the species of Seabass contained in the table below within British Gibraltar Territorial Waters is prohibited from 1 November 2025 to 28 February 2026, both days inclusive-
