Notice Of Prescribed Fees

In exercise of the powers conferred by regulations 5, 10(5) and 12(2) of the Electronic Identity Card Regulations 2015, the Minister with responsibility for personal status has prescribed the following fees for applications for identity cards and civilian registration cards, to take effect as from 1 August 2023 -

Type of application                                                               Fee to be paid

Application for first time card                                                £28.50

Application for renewal or change of circumstances             £11.50

Application for new card on account of loss or destruction   £28.50

Applications for cards by persons aged 65 years or above    £0

This Notice replaces Legal Notice No. 218 of 2022.
