Appointment Of Deputy Registrars

Under the powers granted by Section 3 (2) of the Civil Partnership Act, the Minister with responsibility for Personal Status will appoint any public officer who works at the Civil Status and Registration Office (CSRO), as deputy registrars, effective from 24th July 2024 These appointments will be subject to the Registrar’s discretion.
All other public officers previously appointed by name as Deputy Registrars will retain their status only if they are currently working at the CSRO. This change reflects an updated policy to streamline the appointment process for Deputy Registrars.
