TECHNICAL STOP NOTICE (Period 2) 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by regulation 10A.(1) of the Tuna Preservation Regulations 2014, I have suspended the tuna open season (Period 2) as from 12:00hrs (noon) on the 22nd August 2023 to the 14th October 2023 inclusive.
The fishing of Atlantic Bluefin Tuna (Thunnus thynnus) is prohibited during this time.
