In exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister by section 2 of the Financial Services (Amendment No. 2) Act 2024, the Minister has appointed 10th January 2025 as the day on which the following provisions of the Act come into operation–
- sections 1 to 3;
- section 5;
- section 6(1), (2), (4) and (5);
- section 7;
- section 8(2), but only in so far as is required for the purpose of bringing new section 55C into operation;
- sections 9 to 13;
- sections 16 to 20;
- sections 22 to 24;
- section 25(b); and
- sections 26 and 27.
